About Me & My Approach to EMDR Training
I love training!
But what I love most is what happens after the theory—when clinicians step into practicum and EMDR Training comes alive.
There’s nothing quite like watching someone use a new modality for the very first time. In those moments, EMDR shifts from something you’ve learned to something you embody. My greatest joy as a trainer is being right there with you during that transition—helping you bridge knowledge and practice, refining skills in real time, and supporting you as you begin to trust both the protocol and yourself.

My training style is experiential, collaborative, and deeply respectful of each clinician’s individuality.
Yes, EMDR Training has a structure—but within that structure is room for curiosity, creativity, and authenticity. I don’t believe in turning therapists into carbon copies of a protocol. Instead, I focus on helping you find your own voice as you integrate EMDR into your clinical work.
During practicum, I’m especially attentive to the subtle moments:
the questions that arise mid-session,
the uncertainty about pacing or language,
the instinct to “get it right.”

Those moments are where real learning happens. Together, we slow things down, fine-tune clinical decision-making, and build confidence so that EMDR begins to feel not just effective—but natural.
Whether you’re new to EMDR or expanding your skills, my goal is the same: to offer training that is supportive, grounded, and practical—so you leave not only knowing how to do EMDR, but feeling equipped to use it in a way that fits who you are as a clinician.
Because EMDR isn’t just something you practice.
It’s something you grow into.
